The only Los Angeles short term acting conservatory believes that to do anything well, you must do it every day. And you must do it extensively, guided by experts in that field.

Favoring a daily, concentrated approach, as well as the practical and effective over the self serving and vague, The Acting Corps offers the original Actors’ Boot Camp. It is a 4-week, every day, in your face Meisner based acting program, which not only teaches this legendary technique, but also applies it to Cold Reading and Scene Study. Additionally, the actor’s physical instrument is addressed, with special classes focusing on voice and movement.

After The Actors’ Boot Camp, some actors are invited to The Actors’ Boot Camp II, which concentrates on deepening acting technique as you learn about the industry and where you fit in, as well as what it’s really like to work in front of the camera on a film and television set.

For those working on specific career goals, there is The Professional Program. It is a six month, by audition only, goal oriented weekend program composed of 3 classes, all designed to prepare you to go out into the world of agents, casting directors and jobs, and reach your chosen 6 month professional goal.

All Acting Corps classes are small so that everyone works extensively in every class and all instructors are accomplished, currently working professionals with extensive on set and teaching experience. The Actors’ Boot Camp I and II are offered in both morning and evening sessions at The Acting Corps’ brand new, three theater facility in the NoHo Arts district.
